Mindfulness and Overtones Sounds to Restore Balance.
The psychodynamic approach is based on the idea that many of our emotions, thoughts, and reactions are shaped by past experiences and unconscious dynamics.
These deeply rooted yet often invisible factors can give rise to inner distress, which may manifest as anxiety, relational difficulties, emotional blocks, low self-esteem, or physical symptoms.
Psychodynamic therapy helps bring these underlying contents to light through dialogue, empathetic listening, and the exploration of emotional experiences, offering a safe and welcoming space.
The goal is not merely to relieve symptoms, but to accompany the person on a path of awareness, inner liberation, and authentic transformation.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapeutic approach based on the interconnection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. According to this model, dysfunctional thoughts can lead to negative emotions and problematic behaviors. The therapeutic work focuses on helping individuals recognize and modify these patterns of thinking, promoting more balanced emotional responses and healthier behaviors.
CBT is oriented towards the present and specific goals, while also taking past experiences into account when necessary. Through practical exercises, relaxation techniques, gradual exposure, and problem-solving strategies, patients acquire tools to manage anxiety, depression, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, stress, and other difficulties.
In my work, I use an integrated approach that combines the depth of psychodynamic insight, the practical tools of CBT, an understanding of relational dynamics, and the mindful presence cultivated through mindfulness.
Each therapeutic path is tailored to the individual, exploring the emotional roots of distress, working with dysfunctional thought patterns, examining the influence of family relationships, and developing resources to restore balance and well-being in the present moment.
It is a flexible approach, respectful of each person’s complexity, and oriented toward deep change and personal growth.
Sound and Vibrational Instruments
I also incorporate sound instruments such as gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, and drums to facilitate healing and create a space of mental calm. These sensory experiences complement the therapeutic process by relieving tension and promoting deep relaxation.

My Commitment
I will welcome you into a safe, non-judgmental space where every emotion and thought can emerge freely. Together, we will explore your inner world, giving voice to what often remains unheard, fostering awareness, well-being, and deep, lasting transformation.
With over 20 years of experience, I studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Padua and specialised in Psychotherapy at the Istituto Freudiano in Rome, following a Lacanian orientation. I am registered with the Italian Order of Psychologists, and I am a member of both the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom.
MINDFULNESS
& GONG
The practice of mindfulness invites us to slow down and immerse ourselves in the present moment, while the vibrant sounds of gongs and harmonic instruments promote mental relaxation. Research has validated the positive effects of both practices, and the integration of mindfulness and harmonic sounds creates an experience that enhances their mutual benefits.

GONG BATH
The sound of the gong is considered creative and beneficial for psychophysical well-being. During a gong bath, we create an environment that allows the vibrations to work deeply on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.

Reducing Stress and Anxiety
The overtone frequencies of the gong promote a state of deep relaxation by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which governs the body's calm and recovery responses. This helps lower cortisol levels — the stress hormone — and supports the reduction of anxiety and obsessive thoughts.
Facilitation of Introspection and Meditative State
The gong bath induces alpha and theta brain waves, associated with meditation, creativity, and access to the unconscious. This promotes inner reflection, emotional processing, and self-awareness—key elements in psychotherapy as well.
Support in Emotional Regulation through Multisensory Experience
Deep sound stimulation can facilitate a “reset” of the limbic system, which is involved in emotion regulation. This effect can lead to an emotional release (catharsis), helpful for those who struggle to access or process repressed or blocked emotions.
